Dubai Municipality

All dogs in Dubai must be registered with the Dubai Municipality. This involves your ensuring your Dane is vaccinated yearly and has a microchip. In return you will be given a disc that you must put on your Dane's collar. If your Dane gets lost or runs away, this ID tag will point the municipality to your contact details and they accordingly will contact you. There is a strict policy to control stray and abandoned dogs in Dubai, ensure your Dane has his municipality tag and if possible an engraved tag too with a telephone number on. All of these things can be done at any veterinary clinic, just call the clinic in advance to check availability of the discs.
