Vaccinations

Vaccination your Great Dane is essential in preventing your Dane from becoming ill from known canine viruses and diseases. Dubai is fortunate that most of these diseases are not known to be in the Emirates, although with irresponsible dog ownership this could change very quickly. Vaccinations must be done yearly to keep your Dane protected and is a mandatory regulation of the Municipality. You cannot get your Dane registered unless he is vaccinated. All veterinary clinics will vaccinate your Dane against:

Distemper
Parvovirus
Infectious Hepatitis
Leptospirosis and Parainfluenzavirus
Rabies

Kennel Cough is an optional vaccination although most kennels in Dubai will require this innoculation to be administered prior to being allowed in the kennels, check with the kennels in advance of their requirements.
